Participate in Insurance
Plans?
In 2002, Dr. Zashin elected
not to remain a “preferred
provider” of insurance
companies where physician
services are discounted. In
these types of PPOs, doctors
generally need to see a
higher volume of patients to
meet overhead and expenses.
In Dr. Zashin’s experience,
this restricted the amount
of time he could spend
one-on-one with patients,
and caused delays for
patients waiting to be seen.
As a result, Dr. Zashin
decided to limit the size of
his practice so that he can
provide every patient with
the highest level of service
and attention. It’s a
difference that patients
notice on their first visit,
and why so many choose to
remain in his care. Many
insurance companies will
cover some of the costs of
your care through what is
called “out of network
benefits.” Our staff will
help you determine what
benefits may be available
through your insurance
company.
